About Me
Hi, I’m Christine El Hajj, and I believe every child deserves to feel heard, safe, and supported.
My passion for counselling was cemented while supporting young people in Primary and Secondary schools across New South Wales. This extensive experience allowed me to work closely with students from diverse cultural backgrounds, navigating the full complexity of growing up today.
I specialise in creating an inclusive and effective practice for children and teenagers facing common issues such as low self-esteem, social isolation, anxiety, bullying, and coping with various family structures (including parental separation/divorce). My expertise extends to supporting those with neurodevelopmental differences and navigating issues like school refusal, excessive gaming, fears, and more complex mental health challenges.
I firmly believe that every silent worry, intrusive thought, or self-harming behaviour is a desperate communication of an unmet need for safety and connection. My goal is to offer collaborative, tailored guidance that rebuilds a child’s confidence and equips them with the necessary tools to navigate their world and achieve their goals.

Beyond the Session
Therapy doesn’t always have to feel heavy; sometimes healing begins with a laugh, a shared story, or a quiet moment that says, “You’re safe here.”
When I’m not in a session, my perfect break involves watching a movie with my favourite snack—salted caramel popcorn—and walking my dog, Biscoff. He’s a powerful little mentor, reminding me daily that simply being a calm, consistent presence makes the world a better place. Spending time with family and friends rounds out my perfect day!
